Reduce Opioid Overdoses using Naloxone

Residents concerned about a friend or family member with an opioid addiction are invited to attend free training to learn about reducing unintentional and life-threatening opioid overdoses by using Naloxone, a prescription medication that reverses the effects of an overdose. Training will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Damascus Community Recreation Center, 25520 Oak Drive. Those who complete the training will receive a free Naloxone kit. Register at [email protected] or call 240-777-1836.
