Women’s Board of MedStar Montgomery Medical Center will host its 34th annual Gifts of Light ceremony at 5 p.m. at the hospital, 18101 Prince Phillip Drive. Family-friendly, free event will feature holiday music, recognition of honorees, tree illumination and a reception. To recognize a special person or occasion, or to honor the memory of someone, call 301-774-8840. All funds raised will benefit the Women’s Board, supporting its annual Scholarship Program for students of nursing and other health care fields, and the renovation and expansion of the hospital lobby.
