Canine Humane Network (CHN), a no-kill dog shelter & rescue service, will hold its Spring Fling Fundraising & Adopt-A-Pet event on its shelter campus at 13454 Clarksville Pike, Highland, from noon to 3 p.m. Food trucks will be on site, along with various raffles and activities for children and parents, such as rock painting and bracelet making. Guests are urged to complete an adoption application in advance at https://caninehumane.org/adoption-application/. Previews of dogs available for adoption will be available approximately one week before the event on CHN’s website at https://caninehumane.org/ and on CHN’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/caninehumanenetwork.
