Montgomery County will host its annual Friendship Picnic 1-5 p.m. at Wheaton Regional Park, 2000 Shorefield Road, Wheaton. Designed to bring people of diverse cultures and faiths together to make new friends and discuss ways to build a better community. Free picnic will include traditional, Kosher, Halal and vegetarian options. Activities for children and adults, including music, dancing, moonbounce, face painting, train rides and more.  Registration is encouraged. Go to www.montgomerycountymd.gov/humanrights/.
