Artist and former Sen. Karen Montgomery will offer a free behind-the-scenes look at the process of marble carving 2-4 p.m. at Sandy Spring Museum, 17901 Bentley Road. Montgomery will demonstrate reductive marble carving on an in-progress work and teach about the hand tools used in the process of sculpting. Go to www.sandyspringmuseum.org.
