The United Methodist Men of Oakdale Church will hold the final “Doughnuts at a Distance” fundraiser of the season 9-11 a.m. in the front parking lot of the church to benefit Southern Military Golf Association (SMGA) and Olney HELP. Both groups have been active during the coronavirus pandemic and need funds to continue their work. SMGA uses golf as physical and mental training to keep wounded veterans active. Only HELP helps with food, emergency utility payments and overall assistance. Those unable to take donations to the church may mail a check to Oakdale Church United Methodist Men, Ira Branson, Treasurer, 3425 Emory Church Road, Olney, MD 20832.
