Holiday Clearance Sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Elephant Shop at Friends House, 17310 Quaker Lane, Sandy Spring. Second-hand furniture, housewares and clothing marked down, and all proceeds support the Friends House Seniors Association. No credit cards, cash preferred. Regular thrift shop hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. At Friends House, follow the “Elephant” signs.
