Green Olney will be at the Olney Farmers and Artists Market to collect these types of waste to recycle: used socks; disposable razors (blades, razors and plastic packaging; oral care products (toothpaste tubes and caps, toothbrushes, plastic packaging; beauty products containers (mascara, lip gloss, lipstick, cosmetic cases and more); empty magic markers, pens, mechanical pencils; and Brita filters and packaging. Green Olney will be on hand at the Farmers Market on the third Sunday of every month. Market is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the old hospital grounds, Olney-Sandy Spring Road (Route 108) and Prince Phillip Drive. Rain or shine.
