“The Living Museum — The Civil Rights Movement,” will be held at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at Sandy Spring Slave Museum & African Art Gallery, 18524 Brooke Road, Sandy Spring Museum will come alive with Civil Rights icons who fought for equal rights for all people. Guests can “meet” Eleanor Roosevelt, Barbara Jordon, Gloria Steinem, Eubie Blake, Angela Davis, Cesar Chavez and Colin Kaepernick, and more, as they tell guests what inspired them to fight for equal rights. Presented in partnership with Adventure Theatre. Admission is $15 and free for children under 6.
