In celebration of African American History Month, the George and Georgianna Campbell Sandy Spring Slave Museum and African Art Gallery will present “The Living Museum — A Journey Through Time,” 2-4 p.m. Live, interactive experience where the exhibits will come to life and share their experiences. Talk with Thurgood Marshall, Lucretia Mott, Dorothy Height, Eubie Blake, Ross Boddy, A. Russel Awkard, Rosa Parks, Harriett Tubman and more. Tickets may be purchased online at www.sandyspringmuseum.org or at the door. Cost is $12 for adults, $7 for children under 12 years of age. Sandy Spring Slave Museum is located at 18524 Brooke Road. Museum follows Montgomery County Public Schools for weather-related closing. In the event of a weather closing, the museum event will be rescheduled.
