Olney Library, 3500 Olney-Laytonsville Road, will present “Luis Garay Percussion World — The Passion and Inspiration of the Drums” at 7 p.m., featuring high-energy spicy Afro-Latin rhythm, including exotic instruments such as the balafone, djembe, cuica and berimbao. Children will be invited to play the drums from a variety of cultures. Summer Reading program event is sponsored by Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.
