Sandy Spring Museum, 17901 Bentley Road, will host a History Happy Hour, “The New Chesapeake Kitchen,” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. John Shields, owner of Gertrude’s restaurant at Baltimore Museum of Art, will talk about his new book, “The New Chesapeake Kitchen,” and his passion for healthy food flavors and local ingredients.
