Olney Theatre Center will present a behind-the-scenes event, “Food for Thought,” at 5 p.m.
Julia Cho, who was commissioned to write “Aubergine,” wrote about the connection between food and memory. Join Andy Shallal, artist, activist and founder of D.C.-area restaurant Busboys and Poets; Sam Adkins, founder and head chef of D.C. restaurant Sally’s Middle Name, and psychologist Dr. Charissa Cheah of UMBC for a discussion exploring why the connection is strong. Cost is $10 for the general public; free for Olney Theatre Center members. For information and tickets, go to www.olneytheatre.org.
