Residents concerned about a friend or family member with an opioid addiction can attend a free training session from 10 a.m. to noon at 401 Hungerford Drive, Rockville, to learn about Naloxone, a prescription medication that reverses the effects of an opioid overdose. Those who complete the training will receive a Naloxone kit. Tips on overdose prevention and resources will be provided. Registration is required; call 240-777-1836.
