Brooke Grove Retirement Village partners with the Parkinson Foundation to offer exercise classes and a support group for those with Parkinson’s or other neurodegenerative diseases from 2 to 3:15 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month. PFNCA Exercise for Parkinson’s classes meet each Monday and Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Classes aim to improve posture, balance and circulation while also increasing strength, muscle control and mobility. Both programs held at the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 18131 Slade School Road, Sandy Spring. Cost is a $30 annual Parkinson’s Foundation fee for exercise class; free for support group.
