Reducing opioid overdoses free training

Residents concerned about a friend or family member with an opioid addiction are invited to a free training to learn about reducing opioid overdoses with the use of Naloxone, a prescription medication that reverses the effects of an overdose. Training will be offered from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Department of Health and Human Services, 401 Hungerford Drive, Rockville. Those who complete the training will receive a free Naloxone kit. Registration is required by email at [email protected] or by calling 240-777-1836.
