“Thriving with Parkinson’s” kickoff will take place 7-9 p.m. at Brooke Grove Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 18131 Slade School Road, Sandy Spring. Brooke Grove is partnering with the Parkinson Foundation to offer twice-weekly exercise classes and a weekly support group for those with Parkinson’s or other neurodegenerative diseases. Featuring Dr. Stephen Grill, co-founder of the Parkinson’s and Movement Disorder Center of Maryland, and Terrie Daniels, Brooke Grove’s senior fitness and wellness specialist. Free.
