Experience how enslaved freedom seekers traveled on the Underground Railroad network with a guided hike on the Underground Railroad Experience Trail. “Conductors” will provide historical context and explain techniques used to navigate the way north to freedom. Woodlawn Museum admission included. Offered at 10 a.m. Saturdays and first Sunday of the month from April through June. Hike covers approximately 3 miles and trip lasts 2 and a half hours. Appropriate for ages 7 and older. Admission is $8 per person. Advance registration highly recommended by 5 p.m. Friday before hike at www.ActiveMontgomery.org. Limited tickets sold at the Visitor Center on day of hike.
