Montgomery County Public Libraries is celebrating Women’s History Month, featuring “Valiant Women of the Vote: Refusing to Be Silenced,” a series of lectures, discussions and story times. “Women Against Slavery: Then and Now” / “Speak a Word for Freedom: Women Against Slavery” will highlight the work of several women abolitionists past and present from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Events are virtual and free.
