In celebration of Women’s History Month, Sandy Spring Slave Museum will honor the 6888th Women’s Battalion of World War II with a film premiere of “The Six Triple Eight – No Mail, Low Morale,” a Lincoln Penny Films production, at 1:30 p.m. at the museum, 18524 Brooke Road. WWII 6888th was the only all-black female unit deployed overseas during World War II. Panel discussion featuring producers and members of the 6888th will follow. Free. (See more in this issue.)
