Olney’s 26th National Night Out will be held 5-8 p.m. at Fair Hill shopping center, joining thousands of communities nationwide to celebrate the crime prevention event sponsored nationally by the National Association of Town Watch and locally by the Olney Chamber of Commerce. The family event will offer an evening of fun activities, interaction with first responders, music, a local business expo and food trucks (new this year). Proceeds will benefit the Olney Police Satellite Station, Maryland-National Capital Park Police, Sandy Spring Volunteer Fire Department and the Officer Noah Leotta “Act Responsibly Scholarship.”
